We have been looking for new ways to accommodate you as a teacher, and to show our gratitude for your commitment as a music teacher on our platform!

From today, it’s possible for the platform fees you pay from each lesson to reduce, depending on the number of hours you have taught through our system.
How it works
Starting from January 1st, 2021 we’ve calculated the total number of hours you’ve taught through the platform. As your student list grows and you teach more lessons, so will the number of hours taught in your total.
Once your total passes a marker, you’ll automatically be moved to the next status with us.
FAQs
1. How do I see which status I’m on?
Login to your account, your membership is displayed on your dashboard and also in the My Account section of your profile. You can see your total number of hours taught, your current level, and how many more hours you’ve got to go until you reach the next level.
2. When do the calculations start from?
We’re proud of the decision we made to start the calculations from the first of January 2021. We chose this to pay some respect to the extraordinarily difficult time we as musicians have been through.
3. What happens to lessons I’ve already booked in the system?
From the time you are upgraded, all future lessons will be processed at your new level. That includes lessons that you’ve booked previously, but not taught yet.
4. Will this affect the price students see?
No, the prices for your students will not change. Instead, the percentage withheld in administrative fees is reduced, meaning less commission for us and more for you!
5. Will my students see what level I am?
No, your status level is shown only to you. It is not part of the public part of the platform.
6. Will my status go down?
No. This is a feature designed to show gratitude. Membership levels are designed to only go up!
7. Will the total hour of lessons be reset at the end of the year?
No. With a start date of 1st January 2021, the total number of lessons taught will be an all-time calculation and will not be reset at the end of the year.
