Over Roberto
Hello everyone,
I am a professional violinist based in Amsterdam. I have been teaching for 5 years in Italy, Belgium, and now the Netherlands! I can teach in English, Italian, and French to students of all levels and ages.
Teaching method and lessons:
I like to have a flexible method, shaping my approach so that each of my students grows in confidence with their instrument. To ensure that my students are committed to this process, we will set specific short-term goals, depending on the technical needs of each of you, and adequate to your level.
In addition to this, we will also focus our attention on some interpretative challenges behind the repertoire we will approach.
About me:
I started my studies in Italy at Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, where I obtained my bachelor's degree with the best marks. Subsequently, I accomplished my Master's studies at the Conservatoire Royal de Mons (Belgium 2019) and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (Netherlands 2021) under the tuition of Prof. Eliot Lawson and Johannes Leertouwer.
The chamber music repertoire has been always central in my musical development, particularly in string quartet formation (Quartetto Cler) and in several collaborations with ensembles in Italy, the Netherlands, and Belgium.
Particularly important for my musical development were the masterclasses held by violinists Christian Altenburger, Tanja Becker-Bender, Sebastian Schmidt (Hamburg, Mendelssohn Festival 2016), Guy Braunstein (Berlin, Blackmore Academy 2017), Ivry Gitlis (Mons, Arts2 2017), Vineta Sareika (Mons, Arts2 2018), Simone Lamsma (Conservatorium van Amsterdam, 2019).
