Rachel Gould is one of the great singers in jazz. Creative, hip, swinging, wise yet playful, she has a delivery that is all her own. She has worked with many of the best in the business including Woody Herman, Sal Nistico and Benny Bailey, and her 1979 album "All Blues" with Chet Baker is a classic. Rachel is on the top 10 of the great jazz singers in Europe.

What to expect of the lessons with Rachel:
"I've had a lot of teaching experience over the years in many countries with all levels of musicians. I've given private lessons as well as teaching jazz choirs, vocal health classes, improvisation and applied theory groups, ensembles, exam coaching and more."

Rachel is teaching the intermediate or advanced students who are looking for occasional lessons on an irregular basis (she does a lot of traveling).
She can help a student refine timing, phrasing, interpretation, pronunciation (American English), etc. She can give ideas for practicing, improvising, repertoire choice, keys, arrangements, composition, lyric writing, etc.
