In 2014 I have graduate from the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, Italy, where I competed my Master for learning how to teach youth orchestras and choirs.
I have been teaching violin since 2009 and since then I realized that to teach and to play music were my life goals. I have developed an approach which makes learning to play the violin easy and fun. I accept beginners (from 5 years old) and also advanced students. With beginners I use an approach so they can first learn to play without reading music scores. They learn the instrument by imitation, hearing and with coordination of movements.
With older students I am able to develop their artistic skills and make their playing also feel easier. I use an approach that was created by Kato Havas. Students learn how to be focused on their body and how to release tensions while playing.
I like to use a broad choice of repertory from classical until pop/rock.
During the classes I also like to play duos with students so they can also develop skills of playing with other people.

About me
I started to play the violin with 7 years old with my father. In 2012 I finished my bachelor degree in the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. In 2009 I became violin teacher in the program “Orquestra Geração – Sistema Portugal”. This program has inspired me to focus my teaching on social programs.
In 2013 I have moved to Italy and I became a violin teacher of the program “GOSP – Giovane Orchestra Spezzina”. In 2016 I became also the pedagogical coordinator. My profession has given me the opportunity to travel and to get to know programs in Europe and in Brazil. I have traveled to Turkey, Scotland, Milan, Vienna, Salvador da Bahia and many others.
I also had the opportunity to play in professional orchestras in Portugal, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. I was part of the orchestras such as Orchestra Toscana Classica, Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, Harmonia Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra from Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst.
