About me:
I'm an Irish classical pianist and teacher based in Amsterdam. I have been playing piano from the age of 7. I completed my bachelor degree in Piano performance from Tu Dublin Conservatoire in 2020 and since then I have been teaching at various music schools in ireland and America. My current student make up is about 58% adults. I have experience teaching students from age 4 to 76 and from beginners to advanced. This year played with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland for a 19 show tour of Ireland where we played in irelands biggest arenas for audiances of up to 12,000. I also work with childrens choirs of up to 2000 in schools as a part of peace proms. I am an avid accompamist and accompy over 80 instrumental students each term. This year in March i played with CBOI in carnegie hall New York.
Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy and I'm so happy to be able to offer lessons in an environment where they can express themselves musically and prioritise their development as musicians and people. Though I am a Classical Pianist, many of my students prefer to learn pieces from movies, games, or TV shows. This is made possible through my own collection of sheet music and because i believe students deserve the freedom to choose the music that they want to learn?. I teach balanced repertoire, scales, sight reading and theory to give students well rounded Musicianship to accelerate learning.
I offer lessons at my home studio on Bonairestraat where I can print your music for free and have access to my many resources, but if you live within the locality I can travel to you by bike.
