I am Jonathan and my main instrument is the double bass. My first instrument is the piano when I was 8, where my foundation and love for music seeds from. I then switched to the electric bass when I realised my left hand dominates my right on the piano. My perception of harmonic, melodic, and abstract rhythms developed further in this period. In 2008, I shifted to the double bass upon joining my college's Jazz Club. I eventually toured in Malaysia, Japan, and Mexico before moving to Rotterdam in 2016. Since then, I also performed in Germany, Belgium, and Lithuania.

I love the space for interaction and intra-action that music provides for people, both audience and musician. I also enjoy using this space to share information, knowledge, techniques, philosophies, and chart personalised courses for every individual according to their needs. I generally begin the first lesson with a discussion of music preferences. We then zoom in to ease certain problematic areas, from which we can also begin a new trajectory if desired. At the end of the first lesson, I can set down a lesson plan or provide some ideas for future development, if you choose not to continue.
