I am extremely happy to have bought lessons from Adrian. He is a very friendly and very knowledgeable musician. He likes to chat and shares his passion for music and the arts happily. As an adult piano student, I spent several years on self-study before deciding to invest in lessons. On our first lesson, Adrian had a plan of approach ready almost immediately, using songs that fit my taste and that would gauge my level of skill, but were also challenging. He focuses a lot on teaching to hear what is happening in the music, which is instrumental in actually playing with others. Most importantly, he teaches to think in a musical way and use the piano to express that. Already I’m noticing the benefits of that approach in improvising and enjoying my playing! Special mention also to the beautiful grand piano that he has available for lessons. When Adrian demonstrates concepts it’s like a private performance. A second, upright piano is available and he regularly plays back up or trade bars, which even for an inexperienced musician like myself is a lot of fun and feels very cool. All in all, I can not recommend him enough!

Adrian is a very good teacher for kids. He is clear, patient and funny. My 6 years old son enjoys the lessons and is motivated to practice at home!

Adrian nam de tijd om mijn wensen te inventariseren, en gaf op basis daarvan een goede proefles. Toen ik in de proefles echter aangaf de basics van solfege qua theorie te kennen, viel dit verkeerd leek het .Pogingen om de dialoog weer op gang te krijgen, blokkeerde Adrian helaas door te zeggen dat hij het te druk had. Voor mij daarom niet een goede docent.
