Hi! My name is Javier and I am a Spanish violinist who landed in the Netherlands. I love teaching, and that is why I am part of Muziekonderwijs.nl, since it allows me to have students within the flexibility that I need as a freelance musician. My goal as a teacher is to have my students enjoying music making at least as much as I do, so I am quite enthusiastic and active.

I have been teaching for eight years now and I was mainly trained in Suzuki Method teaching, but I also like working with different methods, such as Willems or Rolland.

I came here to study with Sarah Kapustin in ArtEZ Conservatorium in Zwolle, and I liked it so much in here that I decided to stay.
I have always liked to play in ensembles and orchestras. I am currently member of Iberus Quartet and Libero Strijkorkest, though I have played all around Europe with many different groups in my previous years.
I have always been interested in music making, not only Classical, but also Jazz, Pop, Flamenco... And I think playing music is one of the best experiences you can ever have.
